Scout Section

The section re-opened in 2006 with 5 members and this has increased, even in this short time, to 15. In this year the scouts have managed to do the following activities :

and more. In this time also they have managed to cover four badges:

This is just the start since there are over 70 badges a scout can gain!

Camping, as everyone knows, is a part of scouting and so are sleepovers. The main event we are planning for next year is to attend a international scout camp in Lincolnshire called the Poacher. This will be a chance for the section members to meet scouts from not just this country but all over the world! It should be a fun filled week for all who attend.

Scout Timetable

Here is last years programme for the Scout section. To give you an idea of the exciting activities we get up to.

We have some exciting activities planned. Our main events this term include the Brian and Josie Poole competition held at our hut. It is a cooking contest between scout troops where each troop cooks on the camp fire. The result is usually some rather ill judges.

We are also hoping to do the Worcester Ghost walk which takes a look into Worcester's spooky past. Our star gazing night has a guest instructor where we will be getting a close look at the stars, lets hope for a clear night this time.
