Role: Elly is overseer of all at Crown East, mainly a watchful character she sees and knows all. She has duties as both mascot and leader, Most importantly she never forgets.

Job:During the week she is security and safety monitor. Elly demands the utmost respect.

Collections: Elly collects Scouting memorabilia and has a large collection of neckers.

Favourite Food: Fruit and Veg

Favourite Past times: Like many scouts Elly loves fires, however she takes safety seriously and is always on hand to put the fire out with her trunk. In her free time she is a keen swimmer and loves water sports.

Badges: Elly has spent over 20 nights away and her ambition is to achieve the 200 nights away badge. She has fire safety and camp cook which she earned whilst out on a camp. She has many badges and is keen to show them off. The following pictures show Elly earning some badges.

Chef Badge


Elly here shows that she has done all the requirements for a chef badge, including all the prep work, cooking and serving up.


IT Badge


Elly is always social networking and browsing the web. Elly even has an integral part in creating and updating the 10th Worcester Scout group website.

Music Badge


Elly likes playing the guitar and enjoys learning songs played by her favourite bands. She is working on classical guitar at the moment including Francisco Tarrega's Capricho Arabe.






Camping Badge



Elly loves camping and has spent 25 nights away. She particularly enjoyed Norjam 2010 where she met Chilli the Penguin who is also featured in the pictures above.
